SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 1st
5:30pm – 6 pm: Commented visit of the exhibition Self-portrait
6 – 7 pm: Inauguration of the sculpture Tingari Cycle in Wilkinkarra (Lake Mackay) and drinks
Free admission
For the commented visit, the artist will be accompanied by curators Arnaud Serval and Georges Petitjean.
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 2nd
10:30 – 11 am: Participation of the artist in the kids creative workshop
11 am – 12 pm: Artist talk
Creative workshop: CHF 10/kid; Artist talk: free admission
Workshop: the artist will be present at the beginning of the workshop for an introduction. The workshop will then unfold on the theme of Walala’s works.
Artist talk: discussions will be moderated by curators Arnaud Serval and Georges Petitjean and will be accompanied by projections of Walala’s artistic practice in the Gibson Desert.
