Australian Aborigines and Contemporary Religion: the growth of the religious nones and Muslims.

They are mainly Christian or do not claim to have any religious affiliation. However, a growth has been observed with regards to their conversion (or reversion) to Islam. This lecture will explore these recent changes through the analysis of recent censuses and will address the hidden history of Islam that was already present in Australia before Captain Cook’s arrival.
