“My work is about the river and the surrounding area where I come from”
Lola Binge
Lola was born in Goondiwindi on the 24th of April 1968. Her artwork features imagery drawn from Goomeroi symbols and personal experiences from growing up beside the Macintyre river. Lola has worked as a papermaker for many years and draws on here skills in this area to make her artworks. She is part of Euraba Artists & Papermakers.
“I enjoy making paper. My mother works at Euraba also, she is one of the original nine ladies that first started Euraba. I have also got another sister working at Euraba”.
