Euphemia Bostock is a proud Bundjalung-Mununjali woman and Elder. She was a founding member of Boomalli Aboriginal art cooperative in 1987, of which she was the chairwoman. She has worked across a variety of media including textile, sculpture and printmaking since the 1960s.

In 1987 she was among the first three Australian fashion designers with Bronwyn Bancroft and Mini Heath, to show their work in Paris in exhibtion “Australis down under” at the Primtemps Department Store.

A respected Elder, she has exhibited extensively in Australia and internationally.

Aunty Phemie passed away in June 2024.
