Julien Jourand has a double background in art history/archaeology and cultural mediation, having first graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Brussels Free University) and then from the Ecole du Louvre (Louvre museum’s school) and is now a freelance curator and mediator.
Passionate about African art and history, having lived in Johannesburg and Dakar, he has always had a deep seated interest in Indigenous Australian art, being half French and half Australian.
He now brings his passion and skills to IDAIA as Assistant Curator for exhibition Another Country – Art Aborigène Contemporain in Paris.
